Atheism's Understandable Error

Atheists look at the physical world around them and at the vast universe and see no physical sign of God’s existence.
They deduce from that that He does not exist. And they are supported in this view by much of science which looks only at material physical evidence. In the New York Review of Books renowned scientist Professor Richard Lewontin confessed frankly on 9 January 1997: "We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs…because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations… Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door." What atheists overlook is the fatal flaw in Godless evolution: reproduction cannot evolve – Insight 1.
